Can 375 and 550 Flexco® Bolt Hinged Fasteners be used in belts with troughing idlers?
Every Flexco®, Alligator®, or Clipper® (carded) mechanical belt fastener can be used in a troughing application, provided that the correct hinge pin is used. If you have a troughing application, you must simply stay away from the solid or spring wire pins. All of the Flexco® flexible hinge pins can be used in troughing applications.
